Bill Ticknor
Bill Ticknor is the Chairman of the Board for Mr. Lube Canada GP Inc. and has been involved in the management of both Mr. Lube Canada and it’s corporately owned franchise, Frasam, since 1985. Bill was instrumental in the growth of Mr. Lube as Senior Vice President of Operations and later President. Previously, Bill held senior management positions with CP Rail. He attended the University of Alberta in Calgary.
Mike Cordoba
Mike is Chief Executive Officer of T&M Management Services Ltd. (“T&M”) and oversees the T&M Group of Companies. In 1993, Mike joined Boston Pizza International as controller, and throughout his tenure has held various senior management positions, including chief financial officer, executive director, chief operating officer and president. Mike is also an active Board member for various businesses including the Boston Pizza Foundation, a registered charitable organization that has raised more than $6.2 million for Canadian charities. Mike received his chartered accountant designation in 1993 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Simon Fraser University and, in 2001, was named one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40-award recipients by Business in Vancouver.
Cliff Giese
Clifford Giese, an entrepreneur at heart, founded Mr. Lube in Edmonton in 1976 together with his father Arnold Giese, pioneering the quick lube category in Canada. As President, Cliff developed Mr. Lube into the largest quick oil change chain in Canada. From 1988 to 1999, Cliff was a director of NQL Drilling Tools Inc., an oilfield equipment company and is currently Chairman of the Board for BioMS Medical Corp., a biotechnology company in late-stage clinical trials for a new drug developed for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. In addition to his membership on the Mr. Lube Board of Directors, Cliff is an owner, director and franchisee of eight stores in Edmonton, AB.
George C. Melville
George Melville is Co-Chairman and Co-Owner of T&M Management Services Ltd., a multi-faceted organization which includes Boston Pizza International, Boston Pizza Royalties Income Fund, Boston’s The Gourmet Pizza, Boston Pizza Foundation, Kitchen Partners Ltd., Mr. Lube, Global Entertainment Corp., S&T Holdings Inc., White Rock Commercial and The Naramata Benchlands. George is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia and is an active member of the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association, and the Vancouver Board of Trade. He sits on the Board of Governors for Kwantlen University College and is a director of the Central Hockey League, Global Entertainment Corporation and the Okanagan Innovation Fund. Prior to Boston Pizza, George earned his chartered accountant designation in 1968 and worked for Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. in Penticton, BC.
Jan Ticknor
Jan is a Director of Mr. Lube Canada and member of the Audit Committee since her appointment in 2006. In addition to a background in accounting, Jan has extensive experience in training and volunteer work with a variety of organizations including the National Organization of Victim Assistance where she was deployed as part of the NOVA team after Hurricane Wilma. Jan is also certified by the Association of Trauma Stress Specialists (ATSS) in Critical Incident Stress Management and as a Trauma Specialist and is a dedicated supporter since 2000 of Victim Services of BC.
Walter J. (Jim) Treliving
Jim Treliving is Co-Chairman and Co-Owner of T&M Management Services Ltd., a diversified group of businesses including Boston Pizza International, Boston Pizza Royalties Income Fund, Boston’s The Gourmet Pizza, Boston Pizza Foundation, Kitchen Partners Ltd., Mr. Lube, Global Entertainment Corp., S&T Holdings Inc., White Rock Commercial and The Naramata Benchlands. Since 2000, Jim has also been managing the U.S. operation for Boston's The Gourmet Pizza in Dallas, Texas. Jim serves as Chairman of the Central Hockey League and Global Entertainment Corporation and sits on the board for the Canadian Hockey Foundation, raising money for minor hockey leagues across Canada. Prior to opening the first restaurant in Penticton, BC, in 1968, Jim served as a Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer in British Columbia.
